ABOUT ME
My name is Joseph Lee McDonald. That is my legal name; however, many know me by my online line name: "Solomon Lee GruLaC". That also happens to be my legal pseudonym. I'll Explain.
The short version explanation is this: Solomon is a name I was given when I joined a Christian organization back in 1997 at Grambling State University, in Grambling, Louisiana. This name is a Biblical name that was given to me based upon my nature, demeanor, gifts, talents and calling on my life.
The name GruLaC originated from my childhood, from when I designed a superhero character. Over time, the name and original meaning was forgotten and lost; however, when I began chatting online in the late 90's, I remembered the name and began using it to build an original online identity.
I later established GruLaC as an acronym to
represent my personal beliefs.
The name Solomon GruLaC became officially linked to me when, while I was in college (Grambling), I wrote an original student prayer. As The Student's Prayer gained popularity among many campus and non-campus students, it was suggested that I have the student prayer I wrote legally copy written.
After doing some research, I officially filed with the Library of Congress to have "A Student's Prayer" legally copy-written. It can now be found in the Library of Congress under my legal pseudonym: Solomon Lee GruLaC and my legal birth name: Joseph Lee McDonald.
Lee is my birth dad's first name. I kept it as my pseudonym's middle name to give honor and respect to birth dad and to always remind me of my birth heritage.
